Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules and guidelines for using the Kabware Services platform. All users must comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Purpose and Scope
This AUP applies to all users of the Kabware Services platform, including account holders, team members, and guest users interacting with digital assistants. It covers all use of the platform, including the creation and deployment of AI-powered assistants, file uploads, and conversations.
By using our platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the platform for lawful purposes that are consistent with the intended functionality:
- (a) Creating and managing AI-powered digital assistants for your organisation
- (b) Uploading documents and files to build assistant knowledge bases
- (c) Conducting conversations with assistants for business, educational, or personal use
- (d) Managing team access and administrative settings
- (e) Integrating with approved third-party services via supported methods
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the platform to:
3.1 Illegal and Harmful Activities
- (a) Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- (b) Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes
- (c) Distribute illegal content, including child sexual abuse material
- (d) Engage in or promote terrorism, extremism, or violence
- (e) Stalk, harass, bully, or intimidate any person
3.2 Abuse and Misuse
- (a) Send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited communications
- (b) Impersonate any person, organisation, or entity
- (c) Share account credentials or allow unauthorised access
- (d) Use the platform for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities
- (e) Resell, sublicense, or redistribute platform access without authorisation
3.3 Technical Abuse
- (a) Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
- (b) Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without authorisation
- (c) Circumvent security measures, authentication controls, or usage limits
- (d) Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform in bulk
- (e) Introduce malware, viruses, trojans, or other harmful code
- (f) Interfere with the platform's operation or degrade performance for other users
3.4 Content Violations
- (a) Upload or generate content that infringes intellectual property rights
- (b) Create or distribute defamatory, obscene, or hateful content
- (c) Upload content containing personal data of others without their consent
- (d) Use the platform to create deepfakes or misleading synthetic media
4. AI-Specific Rules
When creating and using AI-powered digital assistants, you must observe the following additional rules:
4.1 Responsible AI Use
- (a) Do not configure assistants to generate harmful, illegal, or discriminatory content
- (b) Do not attempt to circumvent AI safety filters or content moderation
- (c) Do not use assistants to generate content that impersonates real individuals
- (d) Do not rely on AI outputs for critical decisions without human review (medical, legal, financial)
4.2 Transparency
- (a) Clearly disclose to end users that they are interacting with an AI assistant
- (b) Do not design assistants to deceive users into believing they are human
- (c) Provide users with a way to reach a human when needed
4.3 Data Handling
- (a) Do not upload sensitive personal data (health records, financial details) without appropriate safeguards
- (b) Comply with data protection laws when processing personal data through assistants
- (c) Inform end users about how their conversation data is stored and used
5. Resource Limits and Fair Use
Each subscription plan includes defined usage quotas (see our Terms of Service for details). In addition to plan-specific limits:
- (a) Do not create automated scripts or bots that generate excessive API calls
- (b) Do not use multiple accounts to circumvent plan quotas
- (c) Do not intentionally consume resources in a way that degrades the service for others
- (d) Usage patterns that significantly exceed typical use for your plan tier may be investigated
We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exhibit abusive usage patterns, with prior notice where practicable.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any activity that violates this AUP, please report it to us immediately:

Please include as much detail as possible, including screenshots, URLs, and a description of the violation. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
7. Enforcement and Consequences
We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take the following actions:
- (a) Warning: Notification of the violation with a request to remedy within a specified timeframe
- (b) Content removal: Removal of offending content or disabling of non-compliant assistants
- (c) Temporary suspension: Suspension of account access pending investigation or remediation
- (d) Permanent termination: Termination of account for severe or repeated violations
- (e) Legal action: Referral to law enforcement or initiation of legal proceedings where appropriate
We will provide reasonable notice before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm, comply with legal requirements, or protect the platform and its users.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the platform after changes have been notified constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
